CNC Machined Aluminum Sand Cast Engine Control Valve Assembly for the Heavy Truck Industry(Click on pictures to enlarge)  A client in the heavy truck industry contracted us to fabricate engine control valve assemblies from aluminum castings. The component was sand cast by us and machined to the required specifications that were supplied by the customer as a CAD print. CNC milling and turning operations were used to fabricate these components to tight tolerances of ± 0.001". We fabricated the components to MIL-STD-276 standards and produced 7,200 pieces annually. All fabricated parts were subjected to in-process inspection, which included CMM inspection and air decay leak test. The components were also deburred and impregnated.
