CNC Machined Lube Oil Filter Head Die Casting For the Heavy Truck Industry

We fabricated this lubricating oil filter head for a client from the heavy truck industry. 36,000 filter heads were annually fabricated from aluminum die cast at our offshore facility in India. With capabilities such as die casting blank parts, machining them to tight tolerance of ± 0.001", and deburring, we manufactured the components to ASME as well as ISO standards. The parts were subjected to in-process inspection using vernier calipers and various micrometers. An air decay leak test was also performed as a part of the inspection process. The components were packaged and delivered to the client as part of our JIT program.
