Prototyping & Tooling(Click on pictures to enlarge) Taking your CAD data or design concepts and turning them into physical models in short timeframes is our specialty. Our rapid prototyping capabilities include blow molding, injection molding, sand casting, CNC machining, SLS and SLA (stereolithography). We also specialize in fabricating scale models, functional prototypes, as well as visual prototypes for agricultural, automotive, and machine tool industries. Our functional prototypes, tested prior to the actual production phase, are used to assist customers in finalizing product designs. Through SLS or SLA (stereolithography) prototyping, Aerostar Machining, Casting, Prototyping Group turns your 3-D models into solid prototypes. These SLS or SLA prototypes serve as master patterns, supporting various production processes, including metal casting, blow molding, and injection molding. Air ducts, manifolds, engine components, and heat sinks are typical prototype products we develop. With a large inventory of raw materials, including aluminum, steel, urethane, nylon, and plastic, we provide fast turnaround on prototypes. In addition to rapid prototyping, Aerostar Machining, Casting, Prototyping Group also offers complete assistance in product design and development.
