Seat Foam Tools (CNC Cut & Cast)

Michigan Metal Technologies (MMT) is a leader in producing aluminum tooling for the foam components used in the automotive seating, headrests, arm rests and interiors. MMT has been producing these tools for many years and specialize in cast aluminum seat tools and CNC machined billet aluminum tools. We have expertise in 2pc, 3pc and a variety of specialized tools. Heated tools with special seals and many Mold in place or Pour in place options are available.  We custom fit our tools into each customer's specific molding carriers or line equipment. Cast tools are poured from A356 aluminum. CNC billet cut tools are produced from any required billet aluminum (6061-T6, Duramold M2, M5 or 7075). Tooling is run through numerous inspections including CMM layout, scans, temperature processing, mold wax conditioning, auto vent installation, cycling, and others. Cast aluminum tools are produced from CNC machined models and patterns. Tooling is produced to customers' guidelines and time requirements.
