Aerostar was approached by a watercraft manufacturer with the hopes that we would be able to complete a project for them, start-to-finish, within a very aggressive timeline. The project was a cast aluminum water pump for use in watercraft, and we needed to start from the very beginning – sourcing materials and manufacturing tooling.
We immediately got to work, ramping up production as quickly as possible. We sourced the material at an affordable cost which satisfied the customer, and began the manufacturing process. After casting, machining, assembly, and leak testing, the part was ready to be shipped for the customer.
The watercraft manufacturer was very pleased with our ability to work under demanding timelines. They appreciated our efforts to source material at an affordable cost, and were ultimately extremely satisfied with the finished part.
