A fluid systems manufacturer had a large family of parts that needed to be manufactured with as little downtime as possible. In order to produce the parts in a timely manner and minimize waste and increase efficiency, Aerostar set out to create a machining cell within our facility. This machining cell would grant us the ability to run this job and several other similar parts, allowing us to quickly change from one part to another with minimal downtime.
This strategy has lowered cost and waste for many of our customers, while allowing us to quickly produce large runs of similar parts.
