Custom Machined Forged Parts
Forgings are produced by subjecting metal billets or blanks to high pressure forces, often with the use of hammers, presses, or other shaping tools. This process rearranges the internal grain structure of the metal, enhancing its strength, durability, and mechanical properties.
Following the forging stage, the forged components are subjected to machining processes, which involve precision cutting, drilling, milling, and other operations to achieve specific dimensions, surface finishes, and tolerances.

Heating
The material is heated to a specific
forging temperature depending on
the type of metal
Forging
Material is subjected to force using a hammer, press, or other forging equipment. Force applied can be gradual or instantaneous.
Trimming/Cleaning
After forging, excess material is removed. The forged part undergoes processes like shot blasting or acid cleaning to remove scale and surface impurities.
Heat Treatment
Forged part may undergo heat treatment
to enhance properties like hardness,
toughness, or grain structure.
Machining
The roughly forged part is then
machined to its final dimensions
and tolerances by way of milling,
turning, drilling, or grinding.
Inspection
Part is inspected using tools and techniques
like calipers, micrometers, ultrasonic testing,
and sometimes CMM
Finishing
Part undergoes surface finishing

Machined forgings are where raw strength meets polished product. Metal is heated to a malleable temperature, then pounded and pressed into a final form. The forced shaping, known as forging, imparts strength and resilience to the material.
