Aerostar Manufacturing Terms and Conditions:
- The cost for pattern/die maintenance, refurbishment, or replacement of any casting pattern/die is the obligation of the customer.
- Any future cost adjustments forced by the suppliers which go into any of the components shall be passed through to the customer in an appropriate price adjustment.
- If the castings are supplied by the customer, a scrap allowance that is not included in the piece price will need to be determined and agreed upon.
- An engineering review meeting is required prior to the launch of these jobs.
- These prices quoted are based on the annual volumes listed. Any changes may require a review of these prices.
- Prices will be reviewed monthly and adjusted for any variation in material cost, material delivery surcharge, currency fluctuations, fuel surcharge, import tariffs or duties, or any other logistics cost which may cause a change in Aerostar Manufacturing’s casting or end product cost.
- Any debits must be agreed upon by both parties prior to their issuance.
- Any freight expediting charges due to customer-induced surges, force-majeure, or due to any other supply chain constraints caused by vendors shall be discussed prior to any action being taken.
- The customer shall assist Aerostar Manufacturing in negotiating any unexpected eventuality with its specified vendors (for this program).
- Aerostar Manufacturing will only be responsible for any warranty issues due to workmanship.
- Casting prices do not include secondary operations or NDT testing unless otherwise noted.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to supply a complete solid model, including draft, radii, shrinkage, and machining allowance for each part. Any incomplete model can be repaired by Aerostar Manufacturing on a time and material basis, with the costs being charged to the customer.
- Unless a porosity standard is included, all castings will be of a good commercial grade and will not necessarily meet any applicable porosity specification.
- Pressure testing and impregnation will be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated. Core sand will be removed; however, the customer will be responsible for meeting any cleanliness requirements unless stated otherwise.
- All prices are valid for 45 days from the issue date of the quotation.
- Terms: NET 30 unless otherwise stated (1½% per month late if beyond 30 days).
- All shipments FOB our plant unless otherwise stated.
- All prices quoted are payable in U.S. funds.
- Delivery & quote is based on receipt of finalized 3D CAD data, 2D detail drawing, and formal PO.
- Production surface finish, surface porosity and surface profile requirements may be unattainable in gravity cast castings. Deviations to positional & size tolerances may also be required. Aerostar Manufacturing will make every effort to meet your specifications.
- Piece cost is subject to change based on quantity changes.
- Rescinded orders will be subject to cancellation charges.
- Aerostar Manufacturing will retain all tooling, fixturing and project data 2 years following final shipments. The customer is responsible for communicating with Aerostar Manufacturing regarding the required disposition of the related items. Long-term storage arrangements are available.
- Any proposed changes to a proved PPAP’d part by Aerostar Manufacturing or its suppliers must first be formally requested and authorized by Aerostar Manufacturing and its customer prior to implementation.
